A Family, A Lake, A Home
We are the Borchers — Brad, Liz, Annie, Molly, and Carly — a Chicago-based family with a long history on Norris Lake. We first rented this very home back in 2010, when our three girls were young, and returned to it summer after summer, year after year. Somewhere along the way, our love for Norris Lake became a love for this specific house.
In the summer of 2025, after more than a decade of visits, we finally became its owners — and we couldn’t be more excited to share it with you.
Why We Fell In Love With This Place
It’s the clear, emerald-green waters of Norris Lake. The peaceful bay where Sunset Pointe sits. The lake views from nearly every room in the house. And the unforgettable sunsets that light the sky in shades of orange, yellow, and red every single evening.
From the very first stay, it simply felt like home.
What A Stay Here Looks Like
Morning coffee on the deck as the lake wakes up. Water sports, swimming off the dock, and exploring quiet coves in the afternoon. Long dinners together as the sky turns to color. This is the lake life we’ve loved for years, and it’s exactly what we hope every guest experiences at Sunset Pointe.
