What time is check-in?
Check-in is at 4:00 PM Eastern.
What time is check-out?
Check-out is at 10:00 AM Eastern.
How do we get into the house?
Sunset Pointe uses keyless entry. Your personal door code and full arrival instructions are sent directly to you ahead of your stay.
Are pets allowed?
No, we’re not able to accommodate pets at this time.
Is smoking allowed?
No, Sunset Pointe is a smoke-free property, indoors and out.
Are parties or events allowed?
No, Sunset Pointe is booked for family and group getaways only — parties and events are not permitted.
Is there parking for boats or trailers?
HOA rules do not allow boats, trailers, or jet skis to be parked at the property. Indian River Marina, one of several marinas on Norris Lake, offers launch and trailer storage nearby.
Can we use the owner’s boat or boat slip?
The owner’s boat and personal storage areas are reserved and off-limits to guests. The private double-decker dock includes a covered boat slip and two jet ski ports available for renters’ use.
Can we play music at the dock?
We ask guests to bring a portable Bluetooth speaker for music at the dock rather than projecting sound from the house.
Is there a sound system in the house?
Yes — Sonos is wired throughout, with zones for the main floor, basement, and deck.
What coffee makers are available?
A Nespresso machine, a Keurig K-Cup brewer, and a Cuisinart drip coffee maker are all provided.
Are towels provided?
Yes — both bath towels and lake towels are supplied. We ask guests to keep bath towels up at the house and use lake towels down at the dock.
Is Wi-Fi available?
Yes, complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi covers the entire home and the dock area. Network details are included in your pre-arrival guest information.
What’s already stocked in the house?
Guests will find luxury linens, extra blankets and pillows in every bedroom, starter toiletries in each bath, basic kitchen and laundry supplies, and paper goods to get your stay started.
How many guests can Sunset Pointe sleep?
Sunset Pointe comfortably sleeps up to 20 guests across seven bedrooms.
